Clay

Pressed out of matte modelling clay: soft faces, a pressed side and a contact shadow.

Every mark is a flat matte face with a darker side pressed below it and a soft shadow underneath. Bars are pills, lines are round ropes, and pieces of a donut or treemap sit apart.

Type is rounded, tooltips are speech bubbles whose tail follows the mark, and marks spring past their value, squash and settle.

Good for: Friendly product dashboards, onboarding and learning apps: anywhere the chart sits among soft, rounded UI.

All 15 chart types and the 26 blocks, on Recharts or ECharts, light and dark.
The same props, data and behaviour as Instrument: keyboard, screen readers, missing data, the computed takeaway.
